この動きって、国際的なもののようですね。この方の言い方を借りれば、「俺様病の蔓延」ってことかもしれないですけど。
「批評空間」2001-1に載ってる小倉英敬・崎山政毅の「ラテンアメリカとネーション」の中で、崎山さんが、１９８０年代に行われた社会学者による調査に言及しながら、「ペルーのチェロには既に労働者意識はない。これからどうするといわれ、９割以上の人が「自営業者になりたい」と答えている。これはペルーの旧来の労働運動では組織しえない。なぜなら労働者としての意識性という枠組みの中で経済闘争や政治闘争を組織しようというのが旧来のあり方だったからだ。チョロたちは、マルクスが罵ったような「ルンペン・プロレタリアート」の類であり云々・・・」と発言してました。
僕なんかの意識もまさにこれで、とりあえずの目標は「自営」の訳で、となると「労働者としての連帯」とか言われても、「やだなぁ・・」という感じです。「賃労働」をいつまでもやっていたくはない訳ですから。
「夢を追い掛けるフリーター」という特集をよくＴＶとかでやってますけど、彼ら／彼女らの「夢」ってのも大概は「自営業者になりたい」（サクセスしたミュージシャン／アーティストって自営業者ですから）ですし、似たような状況なんじゃないか、とよく思います。

この話題、元職場で同僚だったネパール人（送還されてしまいました）とよく話してました。彼曰く、ネパールでマオイストはとても人気があるのだとか。一昨年にはゼネストやってました。2004年の五月です。王党派かなんかがマオイストのグループを"anti-democratic forces and infamous royalists."ときめつけたところ怒ったマオイストグループがゼネストを組織したって話でした。僕のホームページに当時のニュースのコピーがあります。

The three-day nationwide general strike called by the Maoists began on Tuesday morning.
The strike marks the end of a month-long agitation by the rebel group against what it calls "anti-democratic forces and infamous royalists".
On the eve of the strike, Maoists set ablaze an ambulance in Dhankuta, and in Dhangadi they shot dead a police inspector.
They have also continued their crippling blockade in various districts.
According to reports received early Tuesday, almost all shops and businesses were closed in Kathmandu.
There has been little traffic in the major thoroughfares of the capital.
Many bus companies have suspended long routes and schools and educational institutions have remained closed too.
"All our teachers told us on Monday to bring our homework only on Friday," Anup Kattel, a grade nine student at Arunima Higher Secondary School at Baudha told Nepalnews.
Kattel added "We were not given a formal notice by the administration."

The first day of the three-day general strike called by the Maoists on Tuesday passed off peacefully. However, life remained crippled countrywide.
According to various reports received Tuesday evening, the strike mainly urban areas and the district headquarters across the country.
Most of the shops, schools, colleges, business houses remained closed and vehicular movement was negligible countrywide.
In Kathmandu, trolley and Sajha Yatayat buses operated to ferry passengers.
Very little traffic was seen in the major streets of the capital.
Security was highly beefed in the capital.
Security personnel were seen patrolling the streets in the capital.
In Dhading, the rebels obstructed an ambulance with a sick patient from coming to the capital, reports said.

Strike enters final day
The three-day general strike that crippled life nationwide on Tuesday and Wednesday entered its final day.
As of reports received early Thursday, life remains affected in Kathmandu.
Most of the shops and businesses are still closed.
Though the government owned trolley buses and the blue-coloured Sajha buses have been plying the streets, most of the privatised public transportation was not seen.
Schools and factories still remain shut down.
Various bus companies that had announced to suspend bus service from Kathmandu Valley to other parts of the country have not resumed services.
The general strike was declared by the Maoists to mark the end of a one-month long agitation against what they call the "anti-democratic forces and infamous royalists."

ひさしぶりに「ネパール・ニュース」http://www.nepalnews.com/archive/main.htm読んだら、まだまだいろいろやってるみたいですね。
あと同じ職場にいた中国人外科医から聞いた話だと、今中国では「毛沢東語録」は出版されてないんだとか！ 確かに現在の中国で一番危険な思想はマオの思想かもしれません・・・

しかし、写真やってると性格悪くなるってのは感じてたけど、「左翼」にかかわると、やな奴になるみたい。
なにかってぇと、「それはいかがなものかと・・・」という奴が現れる。「いや、間違っているとは思われませんが、小生の見解からすると・・・」とか、言う。 「小生」とか言いながらも「おまえら愚民とはちがって、この私はすべてに通じておる。軽挙妄動は慎みたまえ」意識がちらつく。
「プチブル・マルクス主義」っていうことをよく思う。
サラリーマン、教員、公務員等の小市民が、マルクス主義に触れると、妙に狷介な人格ができあがるのかも。
ストとかデモなんて、気楽にやるもんだと思うんだけどね。
ロンドンでは、ワールド・カップのイギリス戦の時間には、地下鉄もバスも時限ストでストップしたのだそうだ。 プロレタリアがその位に跳ね上がるようにならなくては、サッカーは勝てまい。野球のワールド・カップ（メジャーレスだから権威も何もないと思うけどね）で、世界一ってことは、小市民の国世界一ってことかな？
